Watch

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Watch".

"Watch" is a word with multiple meanings, including observing or safeguarding or looking out for someone or something. However, I will be focusing on the conventional meaning of the word, which Google defines to be "a small timepiece worn typically on a strap on one’s wrist."

Wikipedia further sheds light on this. It states as follows: "A watch is a portable timepiece intended to be carried or worn by a person. It is designed to keep a consistent movement despite the motions caused by the person’s activities."

There are several types of watches, some of which namely are Analog Watches, Digital Watches, Smart Watches, Dress Watches, Quartz Watches, Field Watches, Chronograph Watches, Swiss Watches, Pilots Watches, Tactile Watches, Casual Watches, and Luxury Watches. These again are differentiated by their gender. Men and women have fashion in watches as well.

Popular watch brands include FastTrack, Rolex, and Apple.

Thank you.

William Shakespeare

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "William Shakespeare".

It is impossible to not know this great English playwright, the man who wrote the infamous "to be or not to be, that is the question"!

A poet, playwright, and actor all rolled into one, he holds the title of the "Bard of Avon." Shakespeare was, in fact, a prolific writer during the Elizabethan and Jacobean ages of British theatre, reaching the heights of his fame for his world-famous tragedies.

According to British Library, "The most famous among his tragedies are Hamlet, Othello, King Lear and Macbeth. Shakespeare also wrote 4 poems, and a famous collection of Sonnets which was first published in 1609." His popular comedies would be "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "As You Like It", and "Much Ado About Nothing".

Interestingly, Shakespeare is said to have perfected the blank verse and is credited with the creation of over 1700 words in English!

Thank you.

Wild Animals

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Wild Animals".

Any animal that does not fall into the category of "Domestic Animals" can be termed a wild animal. Wild animals are, thus, "wild", untamed animals belonging to the forest and woods.

Wild animals, collectively, can be referred to as "wildlife". Examples of wild animals include giraffes, snakes, lions, tigers, cheetahs, leopards, panthers, zebras, wolves, gorillas, foxes, kangaroos, squirrels, elephants, and crocodiles.

Broadly, wild animals can be categorized into 5 types. Namely, they are Large mammals, Small mammals, Upland birds, Waterfowl and wetland birds, and Birds of prey.

There also exist "game animals" which include wild animals that can be legally hunted. To be classified as a legal game, the animals must be useful (predominantly for food) and be abundant in numbers so that can be sustained and not be threatened or endangered. Examples would include deer, elk, and wild buffalo.

Thank you.

My Role Model My Father

Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about my role model, my father. One of the most important figures in our family is the father. Every father is different and treasured.

They educate us to be dependable and kind. Fathers make daughters feel safe and secure, much like my father does for me. Sons aspire to emulate their dads and mimic their actions. Fathers have an impact on the friends we make and the social skills we develop.

I’ve learned to be courageous and independent from my father. Fathers encourage us to take more chances in life, which helps us solve challenges. Dads are more than simply financial providers today. While fathers assist with household duties and support moms, many mothers pursue their jobs. My mother’s employment has always been acknowledged by my father, who also lends a hand around the house.

My father has always encouraged me to follow my hobbies and my aspirations, despite the dangers. He thinks that to grow, everyone must make errors. In this sense, fathers are renowned for taking risks. They support the development of problem-solving skills so that we can perform better.

Despite their gruff exterior, fathers are always there for their children. My father has always been a continual source of encouragement while also enforcing regulations to make me more accountable. Thank you.

Dream Vacation

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Dream Vacation."

Whenever the term "vacation" arises, it is generally assumed to be a holiday taken to some exotic destination. Even Wikipedia, in fact, defines the term "vacation" as follows: "A vacation or holiday is either a leave of absence from a regular job or an instance of leisure travel away from home. People often take a vacation during specific holiday observances or for specific festivals or celebrations. Vacations are often spent with friends or family."

To me, however, a dream vacation is not about going someplace and being with loved ones. Rather, my focus is on only the first part of the definition offered!

My dream vacation would be having no less than two weeks to myself with books as my companion. I want to laze around and devour book after book with no thoughts of studies or work!

Yes, my dream vacation is a bookcation!

Thank you.

World War II

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "World War II".

Wikipedia briefs on this concisely as follows: "World War II or the Second World War, often abbreviated as WWII or WW2, was a global conflict that lasted from 1939 to 1945. The vast majority of the world’s countries, including all of the great powers, fought as part of two opposing military alliances: the Allies and the Axis."

In World War II, the chief Allied powers were Great Britain, France, the Soviet Union, the United States, and China. Here, the three chief ones were Great Britain, the United States and the Soviet Union.

Meanwhile, the chief Axis powers include Germany, Italy, and Japan. Other powers were Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Croatia.

With Hitler's invasion of Poland began World War II, which eventually ended in 1945 with the surrender of Germany to the Allied powers.

Thank you.

Nationalism

Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about nationalism. Loyalty to a nation is the idea of nationalism. Every citizen must have this sense of allegiance if nationalism is to exist.

Without a doubt, this idea has been in human society from the beginning of time. Above all, it is an idea that brings a nation’s citizens together. Another characteristic of it is love for one’s country. The most significant element in global politics is likely nationalism.

A nation’s determination to protect itself is undoubtedly strengthened by nationalism. Among nationalists, there is a lot of sympathy for bolstering the military. Undoubtedly, having a powerful military is the best line of defense against adversaries from abroad.

Low-nationalist nations are likely to make little military expenditures. This is due to the disfavor of powerful militaries among those with low nationalism. Consequently, these nations that don’t take nationalism seriously are weak.

Nationalism also promotes environmental preservation. People with a strong sense of national pride would feel guilty about polluting their country. As a result, even in the absence of regulations, these individuals would actively try to safeguard the environment. A person with low nationalism, on the other hand, would casually dump the trash.

Nationalism is an influential factor in the globe today. There is a dark side to nationalism. However, the importance of nationalism cannot be diminished by this bad aspect. Human civilization would not have progressed without nationalism. Thank you.

Neem Tree

Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about the neem tree. The fast-growing, evergreen neem tree is prized for its therapeutic qualities. Native to Pakistan and other arid regions of South Asia, the neem tree was eventually transported to Africa and is now widely planted on both continents.

The tree’s leaves and wood have long been employed in Ayurvedic medicine, and they are now being used in organic farming and cosmetics. Neem trees may grow to a height of up to 100 feet, making them fairly tall. The neem tree blooms in Pakistan from January to April, and from May to August it bears full fruit.

The fruit is a drupe, which is a smooth, yellow-green, sweet-flavored fleshy fruit with just one seed, similar to peaches and cherries. Neem plants may be artificially grown through cuttings in addition to seeds. Neem can withstand a variety of climatic conditions, however, it cannot endure cold temperatures or wet environments. Neem is special in that every component of the plant, no matter how little, has some benefit.

Neem may be found in soaps and shampoos that are used to treat a variety of skin diseases, including athlete’s foot and acne. Neem is an ingredient in toothpaste and mouthwash, particularly in Pakistan. Neem is used in conventional medicine to treat diabetes and even blood sugar levels. Additionally, the plant’s oil has fungicide and pesticide properties. Thank you.
