Participation is More Important Than Winning

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Participation is More Important Than Winning."

Participation, indeed, is more important than winning in competitions. Winning and losing, after all, but a part of the process of learning life.

Participation enables one to gain a lot of exposure to the outside world. It helps one understand different ideas and different perspectives, allowing for better insights and broadening the scope of one's mind.

Again, participating in various events also makes one better at than event. Participating, after all, is to try, try, and try again until we indeed succeed!

Besides, it is important to understand that it is physically impossible for a person to win in every single event or competition that they take part in! Participation, in fact, is what is more important as it makes one learn about winning and losing, appreciate the talent in others as well and improve.

Thank you.

Self Confidence

Self-confidence is an attitude that we have on ourselves. We are not born with it but it is grown within us with time. Our environment plays a vital role in this affair. People who are always made fun of are seen to have lower self-confidence. it is healthy to have a good limit on self-confidence.

When we have too much self-confidence that sometimes leads us on the wrong path and we get hated for when we do not have any self-confidence we lose a lot of chances and opportunities along the way. Having self-confidence makes us achieve more in life.

There are so many people in today’s world who suffer from low self-confidence and even end up taking their own life. The root cause of this are many but one is the use of social media which has ultimately become a stage of comparison and the competition is extremely high.

We are positive and happy when we have self-confidence, and this is by all the most priceless possession in today's world. The world of today has become so judgmental which has also caused many people to lose their confidence.

We should belief in ourselves and our ability and keep in mind that we re all unique in our own ways. We may not have all the talents but there will be one at least that surpass all other. We should be grateful for the life at hand. We have to build self confidence in ourselves and try building in others as well. We can do so through conversations and many other ways.

Parents Day

Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about Parents day. Parents Day is observed across the world with utmost joy, just like every other day. Parents may relax and enjoy the day as children plan together to make it memorable and meaningful.

While sending cards, flowers, and presents are easy ways to spend Parents’ Day, kids may also devote time to their parents and prepare special meals for them. To spend time together, some kids may also accompany their parents for a picnic.

Our parents are the rock-solid foundations of our love and support and have given up a lot for us. They have guided us through every challenge and taught us what is good and what is wrong. Therefore, it is important to acknowledge their constant dedication, and Parents Day is the ideal opportunity to do so.

The day must be joyfully observed. No one can truly take the position of our parents. We cannot undervalue the importance of our parents, who served as our first educators, gave us all we needed, and supported us financially, mentally, and emotionally. We try to imitate our parents in certain ways since they serve as our role models. Parents Day is observed to highlight the importance of parenting as well as to demonstrate our affection for them.

Thus, Parents Day must be celebrated. It is our responsibility as children to appreciate their value, regardless of where they are or how old or young they are; we can do this on Parents Day. Thank you.

Climate Change

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "climate change".

United Nations defines the term as follows: "Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, but since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels (like coal, oil, and gas), which produce heat-trapping gases."

In layman's terms, climate change can be referred to as a significant change in the average climatic conditions over a long period of time. In a nutshell, climate change occurs because of the heat that is resultant of the Earth's surface rapidly warming and the heat produced therein being trapped.

This process is referred to as the greenhouse effect, which results in the release of gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O), all of which are harmful to the environment.

Climate change includes drastic changes such as global warming, drastic changes in precipitation levels, and the effects therein, such as Rising sea levels, Shrinking mountain glaciers, Ice melting at a faster rate than usual in Greenland, Antarctica and the Arctic, and Changes in flower and plant blooming times. All of this adversely affects the ecosystem of the planet.

Some major consequences of this include increased storms and hurricanes and intensified droughts and heat waves, all of which threaten not just human lives but all living beings at large.

But, what causes climate change? Not one but several factors contribute to this, those of which predominant are caused by human interferences in the past century or so as said earlier. These activities include burning fuel to power factories, cars and buses, and incessant usage of air conditioners. Let us vow to reduce these harmful activities and protect mother Earth.

Thank you.

Pizza

Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about pizza. In every country, people love pizza. Pizza spread is popular because you can put anything on it and consume it anywhere, at any time. Pizza is a popular dish among both adults and kids and has its origins in Italy.

Originally, it was dough that was baked in the oven with any toppings, such as meat or vegetables. As the Italians added sauce, cheese, mozzarella, and several other varieties of cheese, pizza evolved to become more structured. Italian immigrants introduced this novel method to other nations from their homeland. Pizza soon gained popularity after arriving in the Middle East.

Without a question, many people like pizza meals, despite the fact that they may sometimes be harmful. Pizza is widely consumed in the United States and many other nations. Pizza is said to be one of the foods that contribute to obesity in many different parts of the world, and this may be true if it is made in an unhealthy manner and has a lot of ingredients that are high in fat.

Pizza should be made at home and should be high in vegetables and low in cheese and fatty ingredients so that it becomes a nutritious meal and provides healthy calories for both children and adults. Because it contains tomatoes, it may be a part of a healthy diet and Italian authorities advise eating it once a week to prevent cancer. Thank you.

Road Safety

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Road Safety".

Wikipedia defines the term "Road Safety" as follows: "Road traffic safety refers to the methods and measures used to prevent road users from being killed or seriously injured. Typical road users include pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, vehicle passengers, horse riders, and passengers of on-road public transport."

Road safety thus is the precautionary measures taken to protect the safety of our lives on roadways, to prevent us from being killed or seriously injured. We, as pedestrians, are thus required by the law to follow the safety measures laid down by the traffic police while travelling on road in our private vehicles and even while walking.

They are predominantly simple in nature. Road safety basically involves easy acts such as wearing helmets while travelling by two-wheelers, using the zebra crossing while crossing roads and upholding basic traffic rules.

Another important rule would be wearing a seatbelt while travelling in a car. This ensures that at times of an accident, the number of injuries caused could be minimized. Again, air balloons, in many cars, are programmed to activate only on the occasion of wearing a seatbelt, making this very crucial thus.

Adhering to the speed limits, not using mobile phones when driving, and most importantly, never drinking and driving are other road safety rules that ought to be upheld.

Road safety can be summed up to be the 5 C of the road as laid down by the government. It advises road users as follows: Kindly exercise the five C’s  care, caution, consideration, common sense and courtesy when using the roadways.

Let us vow to be careful henceforth and practice road safety!

Thank you.

Positive Thinking

Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about positive thinking. Focusing on the good parts of life is known as positive thinking. It goes against negative thinking, which emphasizes the drawbacks. Instead of recognizing difficulties and hurdles, positive thinking encourages people to look for solutions and possibilities.

In some situations, it might be challenging to think positively. For instance, when a person has experienced the loss of a loved one or is going through a trying moment in their life. When this happens, it might be challenging to think positively since their minds are racing with so many unfavorable ideas.

When you have been depressed for a while or have been fighting with anything for a while without success or improvement, it can be challenging to think positively. In this situation, it could take some time and effort for individuals to realize that things are improving and begin to feel as though everything is returning to normal.

It has been demonstrated that positive thinking increases general happiness and well-being. Additionally, it has been demonstrated to promote motivation and inventiveness at work, increasing productivity.

Success and happiness both depend on having a positive outlook. It can assist you in reaching your objectives and rendering wiser choices. Although the value of positive thinking has long been understood, we have only just begun to understand how it might be applied to our daily lives. Thank you.
