Video Games

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Video Games".

Google defines the term "video game" to be "a game played by electronically manipulating images produced by a computer program on a monitor or other display."

Simply put, video games are those games played virtually played on a computer screen or a television screen or perhaps a PlayStation.

According to Wikipedia, Video games are "electronic games" which often "involve interaction with a user interface or input device " such as a joystick, controller, keyboard, or motion sensing device " to generate audiovisual feedback."

There are several types of video games in existence, over 30 in fact! Some of them, namely, are Sandbox, Real-time strategy (RTS), Shooters (FPS and TPS), Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), Role-playing (RPG, ARPG, and More), Simulation and sports, Puzzlers and party games, and Action-adventure.

Out of these, Action Games, Adventure Games, Role-Playing Games, Strategy Games, and Simulation Games are popular.

Vacation

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Vacation".

Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the term "vacation" to be "a period spent away from home or business in travel or amusement." Google offers a more detailed explanation. It states as follows: "an extended period of leisure and recreation, especially one spent away from home or in travelling; a holiday."

A vacation essentially is a trip or a tour which would be a break from our everyday lives. Vacations thus serve as a stress buster and help cheer one up.

There can be several types of vacations depending on why one takes them and where one takes them. Namely, they can be categorized as Staycation, Sports Vacation, Volunteer Vacation, Beach Vacation, Cruise Vacation, Camping vacation, Road Trip Vacation, and Sightseeing Type Vacation.

Famous vacation spots include Canada, Mexico, Bali, Indonesia, Crete, Greece, Rome, Italy, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Istanbul, Turkey, Paris, France, and Egypt.

Urbanization

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "urbanization".

Google defines the term "urbanization" to be "the process of making an area more urban." Wikipedia offers a more detailed explanation. It states as follows: "Urbanization refers to the population shift from rural to urban areas, the corresponding decrease in the proportion of people living in rural areas, and the ways in which societies adapt to this change."

There can be several reasons cited as the causes of urbanization, the predominant of which are industrialization and commercialization.

Urbanization, on the surface level, seems to be very positive. After all, it provides higher standards of living such as better food, education, housing, and health care.

In reality, however, it has several negative implications, some of which are deforestation, habitat loss, and the extraction of freshwater from the environment, which can decrease biodiversity and alter species ranges and interactions.

Why Being Different Is Okay

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Why Being Different Is Okay".

A lot of us are under the impression that being different implies that there is something wrong with us. This perception of ours is completely false and needs to change.

To be different is not to be strange or weird but to be unique. While all of us strive to have a defined character, we fail to understand that trying to be "normal" or not being true to ourselves defeats this purpose and makes us not stand out amongst the crowd!

Besides, as Maya Angelou once said, "Being normal is overrated"!

Be different. Be you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a quirky trait others might not have. We have one life. What is the point in not being ourselves and making the most of it?

Remember, being different is completely okay!

Weather

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Weather".

Google defines the term "weather" to be "the state of the atmosphere at a particular place and time as regards heat, cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc." Wikipedia offers more insight into this. It states as follows: "On Earth, most weather phenomena occur in the lowest layer of the planet’s atmosphere, the troposphere, just below the stratosphere."

The elements of weather are a) air temperature, b) humidity, c) type and amount of clouds, d)type and amount of precipitation, e) air pressure, and f) wind speed and direction. It is a combination of all of these factors together that help determine the weather of that particular day at that particular time.

Today, gauging the weather is a task made simple thanks to the smartphones we all have today. One click on the "Weather" application with our location switched on and we can determine it easily!

Wealth

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Wealth".

Google defines the term "wealth" to be "an abundance of valuable possessions or money." Wikipedia offers more insight into this. It states as follows: "Wealth is the abundance of valuable financial assets or physical possessions which can be converted into a form that can be used for transactions. This includes the core meaning as held in the originating Old English word weal, which is from an Indo-European word stem."

Wealth could be of many types. Typically, one might assume that wealth only is fiscal or monetary and thus could only be in the form of money (cash or coins or bank accounts) or land or some real estate property.

However, true wealth can signify a lot of things that could provide one with happiness in a non-material way. They are Inner Wealth, Physical Wealth, Family and Social Wealth, Career Wealth, Economic Wealth, Circle of Genius, and Adventure Success.

My Role Model My Parents

Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about my role model my parents. Over time, the idea of a role model has evolved from mythical “heroes” in movies, comic books, and novels to regular individuals who have a particularly positive influence on someone’s life.

A celebrity is not required to be a role model. A role model is someone who has changed your perspective on life, whether they be members of your family, teachers, friends, or even simply random strangers like social workers or leaders. My parents are role models for me.

My parents serve as my role models because they exhibit the traits of a good parent. Even though they are far from ideal, they exhibit the virtues and qualities that any child may hope for in a parent. My parents are loving and steadfast in the pursuit of their plans to raise us with good values and norms so that we will grow up to be responsible, well-behaved, God-loving adults who also know how to love others.

They are also very responsible, good providers, committed to their duties and responsibilities, loving, and good role models. Even while facing difficulties, my parents make sure to provide us with everything we need and try their best. They continue carrying out their parental tasks without pausing or even stopping. Thank you.

My Role Model My Mother

Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about my role model my mother. People look up to celebrities or athletes as role models.

Well, I don’t think those individuals are role models. A role model, in my opinion, is someone who has always been there for you and supports you through difficult times. They are your biggest fan and will always have your back. Yes, I share a home with someone that fits that description, my mother.

She is courageous, supportive, and loving, and puts others before herself. Growing up, I always admired her for managing to have a positive attitude and carry on with life despite all of her hardships. I want to live up to her expectations and make her proud.

The person who has had the most influence on my life and helped me become a better person is my mom. The most significant way to characterize my mother’s personality is to say that she is a strong lady who is supportive and spiritual. She also has many other admirable traits and beliefs.

My mother taught me to be trustworthy and to have faith in God. Because my mother is wise and experienced, I always seek her counsel when I need to make a significant choice. Even if the truth may not be pleasant, I can trust that she will speak to me with love and without passing judgment. Thank you.
