The Impact Of Technology On Our Health
Good morning everyone present here, today I am going to give a speech on the impact of technology on our health. There is evidence indicating both the detrimental impacts of technology and its excessive use, even though some forms of technology may have improved the world. Social media and mobile gadgets may cause psychological problems as well as physical problems including eyestrain and trouble focusing on crucial tasks. Additionally, they might exacerbate more severe medical issues like depression. Children and teenagers who are still developing may be more negatively impacted by excessive usage of technology.
Mixed findings emerged from their research. On these sites, those who engaged in more positive interactions and received more social support appeared to be less depressed and anxious.
The manner in which many individuals use their computers and mobile devices could possibly be contributing to poor posture. This could eventually result in musculoskeletal problems. Many technologies encourage users to adopt a “down and forward” posture, which involves hunching forward and gazing down at the screen. The neck and spine may be subjected to unnecessarily high pressure as a result. Thank you.
My Inspiration
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "My Inspiration".
Before I begin to talk about my inspiration, allow me to explain what exactly inspiration is. Google defines the term "inspiration" to be "the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative."
Hence, my inspiration, I would state, is the Sun. Yes, the planet Sun!
I wish to glow as bright as the Sun that provides light for not just the beings of the Earth but to the whole of the Solar System! I wish to selflessly share my brightness just as the Sun does to the Moon and make it glow as well!
Sun is my inspiration, yes!
Thank you.
The Importance Of AI In Education
Good morning everyone present here, today I am going to give a speech on the importance of AI in education. Artificial intelligence has the potential to improve and accelerate student learning when used in conjunction with top-notch training and study materials. It can also assist students in gaining their bearings more quickly by letting academics know about issues that the human eye cannot see. Assessments, games, and virtual reality experiences can all be produced using artificial intelligence-based mini-tests.
It’s important to take into account the value of interpersonal relationships and the fundamental human nature of education. In other words, AI in education won’t be able to take the role of teachers. Experts also point to the bias of AI as a disadvantage. The results of thousands of exams will be used to establish machine-generated scores. This issue quickly highlights the fact that test results may reflect a lack of opportunity rather than a lack of ability. Machine scoring will be unable to distinguish between these differences.
Nelson Mandela
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of Nelson Mandela.
It is impossible to have not heard of Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa. Referred to as the "Gandhi of South Africa", Mandela was known for being an acclaimed social activist for anti-apartheid and a known politician in South Africa, raising his voice against the oppressed.
Considered to be the father of Modern South Africa, Mandela received the Nobel Peace Prize in the year 1993.
"Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again," said Nelson Mandela. Let us be as perseverant and resilient as this great man and succeed in life.
Thank you.
Nature Conservation
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Nature Conservation".
Mahatma Gandhi had said, "Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s needs, but not every man’s greed". However, man has indeed succumbed to greed and is mercilessly disrupting Earth, as in, Nature in itself.
Before pointing fingers at others and waiting for someone to save nature, let us all take small initiatives to help nature conservation. Let's plant trees. Let's save electricity. Let's save water. Let us consume fuels such as petroleum less. Let us also use ACs less and conserve nature.
Thank you.
The Impact Of Smartphones
Good morning everyone present here, today I am going to give a speech on the impact of smartphones. Mobile phones have become so commonplace that it is difficult to fathom life without them. Nowadays, it appears like everyone owns a mobile phone, including kids of all ages and socioeconomic statuses. Instant messaging is particularly helpful when studying. Teachers frequently use WhatsApp groups to offer extra assistance to pupils who require it.
The Internet offers a variety of alternatives for students to work at their own convenience and make enough money to support their education or daily needs. Students can perform better because there are so many resources available, like study groups and study materials. They frequently receive indirect academic assistance through online tutors and other activities by having their topic knowledge updated.
Smartphones contribute to the unstoppable march of progress and help pupils both academically and personally. They should be used by students, but with caution, as they may cause them to become distracted during lectures and take longer to complete assignments. It has been demonstrated that students who use their phones and the internet frequently struggle to focus on their work for extended periods of time. Thank you.
Non Violence
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of non-violence.
Google defines the term non-violence to be "the use of peaceful means, not force, to bring about political or social change."
Mahatma Gandhi is, in fact, an icon of non-violence. His mindset on the same can be summarized with a quote of his: "Non-violence is the greatest and most active force in the world. One cannot be passively non-violent… One person who can express ahimsa in life exercises a force superior to all the forces of brutality."
Non-violence, or ahimsa, is thus preferred by him because, in his own words, "I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent."
Thank you.
Noise Pollution
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of noise pollution.
Wikipedia defines the term "Noise Pollution" to be "Noise pollution, also known as environmental noise or sound pollution, is the propagation of noise with ranging impacts on the activity of human or animal life, most of them are harmful to a degree."
Noise pollution is caused by a variety of reasons, some of them being vehicles, aircraft, industrial machines, loudspeakers, and crackers.
Noise pollution raises various issues, including stress-related illnesses, high blood pressure, speech interference, hearing loss, sleep disruption, and lost productivity.
In order to prevent the dangers of noise pollution, we can create no-honking zones, minimize the usage of electronic devices, and use earplugs and other devices for the same.
Thank you.
