Things I Learned In Lockdown
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Things I learned in Lockdown".
The Covid-19 Pandemic Lockdown provided all of us with a lot of time on our hands without the stress of travelling to jobs and educational institutions and being cooped up in our homes! Naturally, like everyone else, I was seized to experiment with new things out of boredom, which in turn made me learn things I didn't think I would learn before!
Then, I learned to play my mother's keyboard, courtesy of Youtube again. I am no professional but I can play some simple tunes which in itself makes me happy, all thanks to lockdown!
Thank you.
Money Management
Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about money management. Money must be managed carefully since it is so important to our everyday life.
The amount of accessible discretionary money determines the standard of living. It determines where people live, the standard of healthcare they may get, their access to education, and every other necessity for a decent life.
It has to be dissected down to the last detail. If it isn’t specific, it won’t be complete, which makes it useless. One is in a better position to make accurate short- and long-term financial estimates and judgments if they are aware of how much money one earns and spends.
Ignorance is the biggest cause of people not maintaining personal budgets. Maintaining a personal budget will assist in identifying wasteful spending. Then, this money may be used to fund profitable endeavors like saving or investing in bonds or stocks. Most of these issues may be resolved by implementing efficient money management techniques.
Knowing that one can afford to obtain high-quality goods and services frees up mental space so that one may concentrate on other, more essential things like innovation, a happy family, and strong social ties. Thank you.
Money
Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about money. Whatever individuals use to pay for products and services is considered money. People can also make money by selling their goods or services. Most nations have their unique forms of currency, such as the dollar, the pound, and the rupee in the United States, Britain, and Pakistan, respectively. Cash or currency are only two of the many alternative names for money.
Money is a necessary resource that keeps our life functioning. Commodity money, convertible money, inconvertible money, bank deposits, and electronic money are some of the numerous forms of money. Along with being a means of transaction, commodity money has additional uses. Money is said to stay in the hands of those who understand its value.
In conclusion, Money may buy us anything, but it cannot buy everything. Relationships should be valued more highly than money. Rich individuals should appreciate and assist the less fortunate. We should instill the habit of saving in our kids from an early age. When handled properly and intelligently, money may help a country become strong, advanced, and powerful. Thank you.
Stress Management
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Stress Management".
Before we look at what stress management is, allow me to state what "stress" means. Google defines it to be "a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances."
Wikipedia defines the term stress management as follows: "Stress management is a wide spectrum of techniques and psychotherapies aimed at controlling a person’s level of stress, especially chronic stress, usually for the purpose of improving everyday functioning."
Simple stress management techniques include meditation, yoga, and exercise. Laughing therapy is also a popular form of therapy undertaken today, along with acupuncture and massage.
Thank you.
Tourism
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Tourism".
Google defines the term "tourism" to be "the commercial organization and operation of holidays and visits to places of interest."
Tourists undertake tourism for several reasons, even when taking it "just for pleasure"! Broadly speaking, tourism can be categorized into 4 different types. Namely, they are Sustainable tourism (environmentally friendly), Food tourism (culinary tourism undertaken for the sole purpose of trying out different types of food), Experiential tourism (immersion travel undertaken to gain new experiences across the world), and Wellness tourism (health conscious).
Perhaps a few of the most popular tourist spots include the Eiffel Tower, Paris, The Coliseum, Rome, the Statue of Liberty, New York City, and so on!
Thank you.
Music Has The Power To Heal
Good morning to everyone in this room. I would like to thank the principal, the teachers, and my dear friends for allowing me to speak to you today about music has the power to heal. I enjoy the music of many genres, from country to hip-hop to others, and when the music appeals to our emotions, listening to it is more than just a kind of amusement.
There are many different sorts of music therapy, each with different advantages. Throughout history, music has been used to increase self-esteem, aid army personnel in helping people work more quickly and productively, and even ward off bad spirits through chanting.
People who can sing can overcome damage to the left side of the brain by initially singing their ideas and then gradually decreasing the melody because singing comes from the right half of the brain.
In addition to the many forms of music therapy, music serves as a medium for processing emotions such as trauma and loss. It may also be used as a regulating or soothing agent for stress or dysregulation. Music therapy has the potential to help you if you’re going through a process, have an ailment, or just need to unwind from the stresses of daily life. Music therapy has been proven to be beneficial for reducing stress and promoting relaxation as well as for many other health reasons. Thank you.
Tolerance
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Tolerance".
Google defines the term "tolerance" to be "the ability or willingness to tolerate the existence of opinions or behavior that one dislikes or disagrees with" and "the capacity to endure continued subjection to something such as a drug or environmental conditions without adverse reaction."
Helen Keller has once said, "The highest result of education is tolerance." Develop tolerance!
Thank you.
Time is Money
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of "Time is Money".
Time is money is a famous adage I am sure all of here must be quite accustomed to. Google defines this phrase of time to be "time is a valuable resource, therefore it’s better to do things as quickly as possible."
Time is money can also be interpreted to mean that losing time literally equates to losing money. In many jobs, not submitting the assigned work in the stipulated time could result in the loss of the job in itself, which would in turn result in financial constraints- loss of money thus.
Use time wisely thus just as we would use money.
Thank you.
