Gardening
Good morning everyone present here, today I am going to give a speech on gardening. One such activity that may be viewed as both a habit and a discipline is gardening. Many people engage in gardening as a result of their interest in plants and other hobbies. Whatever it is, gardening is unquestionably a very precise and lovely art.
Gardening is a skilled hobby that also cultivates patience and hard work in the practitioner. It would not be sufficient to just sow seeds on the ground and give them regular watering. Other elements need to be considered, including soil fertility, the climate, manure, etc. Growing plants and flowers as well as caring for them properly are all part of gardening.
Therefore, gardening is a fun hobby. Although it does demand the utmost commitment, the wait is worthwhile. Growing up in the garden helps one develop dexterous hands that can take care of even the smallest things. It cultivates loyalty and patience in the grower. The act of gardening also inspires in the gardener a fresh passion for plants. It is an investment position that calls for a capable, accountable individual. Thank you.
Importance of Exercise
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of exercise.
Google defines exercise, that is, physical exercise as a noun, not a verb to be "activity requiring physical effort, carried out to sustain or improve health and fitness."
Now exercise, I would like to reiterate, is for fitness, not to remain "slim" or to achieve any beauty standards. It helps improve the health of the body by reducing the rate of getting affected by diseases and other ailments.
Studies also point out that exercise alleviates stress and enhances mental health. It is even said to increase memory power. It also combats anxiety and depression and is observed to help regulate the sleep schedule of a person. Regular exercise thus increases the longevity of life.
Thank you.
Importance of Media
Very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of media.
Google defines the term "media" to be "the main means of mass communication (broadcasting, publishing, and the internet) regarded collectively." Media thus is the predominant source of information that prevails in society.
Today, life without media becomes a violation of basic human rights. It denies one of the truths, becoming an oppressive form of censorship practiced in a few countries. Freedom of media is important thus.
Thank you.
Importance of Life
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of life.
Google defines the term life to be "the condition that distinguishes animals and plants from inorganic matter, including the capacity for growth, reproduction, functional activity, and continual change preceding death." Life thus means to live and be alive- to exist as opposed to non-living things.
In addition to life being important in itself, the kind of life we live lead is equally important. In addition to being filled with joy and contentment, it should be moral and ethical, devoid of negativity.
Thank you.
Importance of Learning Through Experience
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of learning through experience.
Immanuel Kant, a well-known philosopher has said, "Experience without theory is blind, but theory without experience is mere intellectual play."
Learning through experience thus becomes very important in one's life. Experience in life teaches us many things that theoretical knowledge cannot teach us. Moreover, learning through experience leaves a lasting impression in one's mind as it is learned not through mere memorizing of concepts but through actual understanding.
Learning through experience also is a more conventional form of learning as opposed to today's rote learning and the mindless rat race in pursuit of marks. It will enhance learning and be more beneficial.
Thank you.
Importance of Kindness
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of kindness.
Google defines the term "kindness" to be "the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate." To be kind thus involves being compassionate and benevolent, especially in the face of the suffering or misery of others.
Kindness not only avoids unnecessary brutality so prevalent in the world but also promotes one's own state of the mind. To be kind and not be marred by ugly, negative emotions. It is proven scientifically that being kind, in fact, reduces stress and depression and does not take a toll on one's health unlike the latter.
Be kind!
Thank you.
Importance of Teachers
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of teachers.
Google defines a teacher to be "a person who teaches, especially in a school." But, is this all a teacher is?
Albert Einstein has, in fact, said "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge." Indeed, teachers invoke curiosity in us from a very young age, shaping and molding us for the better.
I would like to conclude my speech with the quote "Teaching is the profession that teaches all the other professions."
Thank you!
Importance of Science
A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a short speech on the topic of the importance of science.
Google defines the term "science" to be "the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained."
Science, especially scientific findings, is a game changer in numerous fields such as medicine, technology, and even war. Without science, a lot of diseases would still be life-threatening and many of the technological advancements we have today would be nonexistent. This, I'm sure, would put us back to the vulnerable human beings we had once been.
Science is our future.
Thank You.
