Albert Einstein

"A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new."

A very good morning to one and add present here. Today, I'll be talking about Albert Einstein.

It is impossible to not know of the fame and genius of this man. Born in Germany, he was the greatest theoretical physicist known. At around his time, he was known to be highly influential. He is a great scientist who is known for developing the theory of relativity and making major contributions to quantum physics. In recognition of his immense work, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1922.

He is the one who had said "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning." We all need to take inspiration from him and be perseverant and never give up!

Aesthetics

Good morning, teachers, respected principal, and my dear friends. I’ll be discussing the subject of aesthetics today. A field of philosophy known as aesthetics examines the nature of taste and beauty as well as the philosophy of art. It looks at aesthetic values, which are frequently conveyed through judging one’s taste.

Both the natural and artificial origins of our experiences, as well as how we judge them, are covered by aesthetics. It takes into account the mental processes that take place when we interact with things or settings like visual art, music, poetry, plays, fashion shows, movies, sports, or even different aspects of nature. The philosophy of art focuses on the conception, production, and performance of artistic works by artists as well as the usage, appreciation, and criticism of art by viewers and users.

Aesthetics examines how art can influence our emotions or even our beliefs, as well as why some pieces of art are appreciated more than others. What constitutes a work of art, what defines aesthetic quality, and other similar inquiries are addressed by both aesthetics and the philosophy of art.

Aesthetics is a “critical reflection on art, culture, and nature,” according to some philosophers in the area. In conclusion, we can also say that the word “aesthetic” in contemporary English can also refer to a particular art movement or school of thought (for example, a Renaissance aesthetic).

Adventure Sports

Good morning, teachers, respected principal, and my dear friends. I’ll be discussing the subject of adventure sports today. Adventure sports are different from traditional sports. Adventure sports involve challenging, thrilling, and unexpected activities. An adventurous sport is a risky endeavor with unknown results that involves perilous activity. There is a huge variety of activities that make up adventure sports. Popular adventure sports include mountaineering, rock climbing, trekking, skiing, river rafting, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, and scuba diving.

Depending on the topography, weather, and location, different adventure sports are practiced. The majority of adventure sports are practiced in mountainous and hilly terrain. Skiing and sledding are both possible activities on snow-covered slopes. An extremely well-liked adventure sport is hang gliding. By moving one’s weight onto a flexible wing aircraft, one can pilot it in this sport.

An additional adventure sport is paragliding. Hot air ballooning is quickly gaining popularity as an adventure activity. In this sport, participants ascend to great heights and float across the sky in a basket suspended from a huge, hot-air-filled nylon balloon. In the western Ghats and Aravalli hills near Delhi, rock climbing is practiced.

Off the coasts of Gujarat, Goa, and Kerala, people engage in watersports like sailing, surfing, and yachting. Numerous foreign visitors come for wildlife safaris, bird viewing, and camping excursions. Adventure sports are growing in popularity as a result of liberalization. Thank you.

Adolescence

Good morning to each and every one present. The topic for today's speech is adolescence, which occurs between middle childhood and early adulthood, is regarded as a natural phase of the human life cycle. Early, middle, and late adolescence are the three distinct periods that make up this time.

The adolescent years typically last from 10 to 22 years of age. Adolescence officially begins at the start of the teenage years, according to popular belief. The majority of people believe that the commencement of puberty, or the development of sexual maturity, signifies a person’s transition from middle childhood to adolescence.

Adolescents go through a variety of social, psychological, and behavioral changes during this time. People gain knowledge about their orientation and engage in introspection and the emergence of abstract thought. They gain knowledge of values, aptitudes, coping mechanisms, and the significance of a family and its principles.

According to some psychologists, adolescence is a time of tremendous growth and confusion. The statement that adolescence is a half-truth. In actuality, the period is marked by declining growth rates rather than rising ones. You go through a time of accelerated growth, known as a “growth spurt,” just before entering adolescence.

To sum up, growth rates may occasionally fluctuate, but never to the extent that a person might be completely transformed. The same changes that happen in childhood or adolescence also happen in maturity and later years. There is no time in a person’s life that is more significant than another. Every time period has equal significance.

Aim of Education

Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be talking about the aim of education.

Today's aim of education does not have anything to do with learning or gaining knowledge. Rather, it has morphed into a rat rate.

All that is important now is to be academically proficient and receive straight As. Rather than understanding new concepts and imbibing them, what matters today is memorizing the syllabus for the sake of exams and writing answers that would appease the examiner!

The education system as a whole needs to be changed thus. The aim of education must shift from receiving good grades to learning knowledge and learning a more hands-on approach. Practical skills must be given more importance thus.

Let's change the aim of education for the better! Let's learn for a better future!

Afforestation

Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a speech on the topic  "afforestation".

What is afforestation? In layman's terms, afforestation is planting trees in a barren area in order to create a forest.

Today, there is an increasing need for wood. Deforestation is rampant thus. This leads to major implications for nature and our lives hence.

Afforestation is hence the best solution for the future of mankind. It has major benefits such as increasing rainfall, reducing global warming, and reversing biodiversity losses.

Also, its advantages do not end there. It prevents soil erosion and degradation, reduces the rate of carbon emissions, and provides carbon sinks in turn, increases the supply of forest products significantly, and even provides job opportunities to those unemployed. The benefits of afforestation are thus endless, with no negative implications to society or nature!

Plant more trees! Protect nature!

Art and Aesthetics

"All art is quite useless."

A very good morning to one and all present here. My beginning with the famous quote from Oscar Wilde is a prelude to what I am to talk about- art and aesthetics.

Art and aesthetics are terms that are often confused with each other and go hand in hand. While art is a broader aspect, aesthetics is a branch within it. Aesthetics, in fact, is the study of beauty.

Again, the beauty of either is subjective or relative. It varies from critic to critic, person to person.  After all, as the saying goes, "to see the beauty of Laila requires the eyes of Majnoon".

Thankfully enough, we have our world blessed with enough and more artists, who in turn bless us with their art and aesthetics. For it is the very same Oscar Wilde who says "It is through art, and through art only, that we can realize our perfection.".

Animal Abuse

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be talking about animal abuse.

What is animal abuse? Animal abuse, in layman's terms, is subjecting animals to cruelty, such as testing drugs on them and physically abusing them. Generally, cats, dogs, and livestock are treated as such.

Animal abuse also involves conducting animal fights that inflict harm on animals for the mere sake of entertainment. Pitbull variety in dogs are commonly subjected to this cruelty and was once fed and bred for this purpose. Bird fights such as fights between roosters and pigeons were also heard of.

Pakistan has taken active measures against this.

Animal abuse is thus a serious criminal offense punishable under the law. It is also condemnable morally. Let's all take measures against it and protect animals!
