Mental health is a term that is quite in vogue these days. It refers to the health of a person's mind. It is as important as physical health, because no human being can function without a healthy mental state. Depression is perhaps the condition that affects mental health the most.

Often associated with an overwhelming feeling of sadness, depression is a clinical disorder that can hamper a person's entire life by disturbing their mental health. It makes people lethargic and melancholy, and does not allow them to go about their daily lives in a normal manner. However, depression is nothing to be ashamed of, and people must seek help to treat it properly.

Bravery

Bravery is one of the most important qualities that every person should have. In life, we are faced with many difficult situations that we must overcome. We must be brave to get through these situations and emerge victorious in the race of life. Bravery allows us to overcome all the hurdles in our path, and face all our fears without bowing down to them.

It is often said that fortune favors the brave, and the saying couldn't be truer. Only by being brave can we succeed in life. Cowardice brings nothing but misery. Bravery is what allows humans to achieve the unachievable, and make the best out of our lives.

Thus, we must all remember the value of bravery, and do our best to be brave! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.

Biodiversity

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Biodiversity.

Biodiversity is a term that refers to all living creatures on the planet earth, from plants and animals to microbes and fungi. Every creature is essential in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. Therefore, biodiversity is what maintains the delicate balance of life on earth.

However, due to the increased amount of pollution and deforestation in recent times, many species of plants and animals have gone extinct. This biodiversity loss destroys the balance of their natural habitats, harming the planet immensely. Therefore, we immediately need to raise awareness about the problem of biodiversity loss, and take steps to combat this growing problem.

To conclude, it is our responsibility to protect the biodiversity of the planet, and we must never forget it! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.

Beauty

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Beauty.

The poet John Keats once wrote- "A thing of beauty is a joy forever." His words couldn't be truer, because beauty is something that humans look for in everything. From the beautiful scenes of nature that great artists paint, to the beauty of humans that poets praise in their verses, they all prove that humans love beautiful things.

However, it becomes a problem when the pursuit of beauty becomes a solely material one, because external appearances often lie. Thus, we should always try to look for the beauty within, especially in the case of human beings.

To conclude, beauty indeed brings us joy, but it should not blind us to everything else! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.

Black Holes

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Black Holes.

Black holes are formed when stars, much larger than our own sun, collapse. This creates an entity of extremely high mass and density which results in inconceivable gravity. The gravity of black holes is in fact so much that even light cannot escape them. This is why they are called black holes, devoid of any light.

There has been an immense amount of research on black holes in recent years, and yet we know very little about them. The great scientist Stephen Hawking has contributed the most to the study of black holes. His famous equation called the Hawking Radiation equation explains the phenomenon of black holes.

Clean Pakistan

Cleanliness is one of the most important qualities that every person should have. It allows us to be more organized and disciplined, and also makes us more hygienic, helping us lead healthier lives with less scope for illnesses and diseases to plague us.

It is often said that cleanliness is next to godliness, and the saying couldn't be truer. Only by staying clean and keeping our environment clean can we create the ideal society. The Clean Pakistan campaign was started with such thoughts in view, to make Pakistan a clean and beautiful country that can achieve the very best.

Dependence on Technology

Technology refers to machines, devices and scientific knowledge that makes life easier for us. In recent times, humankind has seen unprecedented scientific progress. As a result, technology has taken over every aspect of our lives. From cars to mobile phones to television sets, we see technology all around us that we are constantly dependent on. It is an indispensable part of our daily routines.

However, technology has many negative effects too. It has caused great harm to the environment, with pollution on an all-time high. It has also led to health problems and feelings of depression and anxiety.

To conclude, we must be careful of our dependence on technology and use it in moderation! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.

Drug Abuse

Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Drug Abuse.

Drug Abuse is a huge problem in the modern world, and it has sadly become very prevalent in Pakistan too. Drugs are substances that produce momentary feelings of elation when taken and ultimately lead to addiction. As these drugs become more easily available due to globalisation, more people fall victim to them every day.

The youth are extremely susceptible to such drugs. Deteriorating mental health and peer pressure lead vulnerable teenagers to indulge in drug abuse and become addicts. Drugs destroy lives, since drug addicts can see nothing beyond their need to take drugs. We must urgently deal with the problem of drug abuse!
