Class

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a speech on the topic "Class".

Now, "class" happens to be an ambiguous term for it is a word of many meanings. Allow me to illuminate you on its various implications.

Firstly, "class" could refer to the society's way of distinguishing people based on their economic status. They could be grouped from rich to poor depending on their income. Various social stigmas can thus be associated with this term.

Secondly, it could mean something with finesse. "Class" can be used to describe whether something is of excellent caliber or not thus.

Or, it could even refer to a space where students are brought together and taught, essentially referring to a "Classroom".

Oh, the wonders of the English language!

Thank you!

Clock

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a small speech on the topic "Clock".

Humans have always been looking for newer ways to devise time from ancient times. After sundials and hourglasses came clocks thus.

A clock is a device which has been invented for the purpose of determining what time it is accurately. They use the help of the moving hour hand, the minute hand, and the seconds hand to calculate the time.

Clocks come in various forms. They can be alarm clocks, wall clocks, analog clocks or digital clocks, a smaller version of this being wrist and digital watches. Lately, even smart watches have been invented. They are crucial to us as without the help of these, it would be impossible to tell the time.

Thank you!

Cleanliness Is Next To Godliness

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be making a small speech on the topic "Cleanliness is Next to Godliness".

This is an age-old adage that I am sure all of you here are familiar with. Why is this so? Because it is an important lesson to be learned by all of us right from childhood.

Cleanliness is a virtue to uphold. It does not refer to just cleaning up dirt and dust on the surface level of material objects or of our premises, although that is of equal importance as well. One should always keep not just their homes clean this way but also their surroundings, their body, and their mind. Cleanliness pertaining to these aspects, as the saying rightly decrees, is second only to godliness.

Be hygienic! Think pure thoughts! Be clean, both bodily and in the mind!

Thank you.

Cancer

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'm going to be giving a short speech on cancer.

Cancer is one of the diseases that is most often life threatening and thus is feared across the world. Cancer, in simple words, is when the cancer cells in our body grow, multiply, form tumors, and start destroying our cells from within. Unfortunately, the cause of cancer has still not been discovered accurately. Thus, because it spreads and because it can form in any part of the body, it is considered to be extremely disastrous.

That being said, not all types of cancers are incurable. Breast cancer, for instance, is one type of cancer that is widely cured. Early diagnosis and treatment is crucial and helps in preventing the spread of cancer and saving lives.

Thank you!

Capital Punishment

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a short speech on the topic of "capital punishment".

Capital punishment is a term often confused with Corporal Punishment. However, these two terms are vastly different. While corporal punishment refers to the usage of physical force to cause some pain, capital punishment is, in layman's terms, the death penalty.

Capital punishment is decreed legally for the highest of crimes, such as murder and rape. Different countries use different methods of capital punishment. Some of these include electrocution, tranquilization, beheading, stoning, shooting, and, most commonly, hanging.

On a moral level, it is an issue that is still highly criticized and debated upon.

What is your take on this? Please do let me know.

Thank you.

Courage

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a small speech on the topic "Courage".

Courage, essentially, is to be brave in the face of challenges. One should never cower before any difficulty whatsoever and face it head-on.

Courage is a quality every one of us must possess. While it is indeed easier said than done, we must never succumb to our fears. If we do that, we'll never be able to succeed in life and achieve our desired goals.

Phobias notwithstanding, it can be noticed that most of our fears are irrational. Our fears mostly stem from insecurities, self-preservations, and self-doubts that we harbor. Let go of them!

Sometimes, all it needs is a bit of courage. Courage, the bane to our irrational fears, will be the key to success hence.

Be brave! Go for it! Nothing is impossible!

Thank you.

Compassion

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a small speech on the topic "Compassion".

"No act of kindness, no matter how small, is never wasted".

What is compassion? Compassion, in layman's terms, refers to empathy and understanding toward the sufferings of others. Simply put, is to act humane toward others in the face of their misery. Some kindness for those less fortunate is all compassion is about thus.

Compassion is a noble human virtue. Everyone should be compassionate, and willing to help others. We should never remain impassionate towards those who seek help.

"Compassion is to look beyond your own pain and look for the pain in others".

Be aware of the sufferings of others. Do be of support to them, if not anything, at least mentally or emotionally. Develop and nurture compassion, the natural instinct that is very much present in everyone.

Thank you!

Communication

A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I'll be giving a small speech on the topic "communication".

What is communication? Communication, in simple terms, refers to the act of interacting with another person. From ancient times, we humans have devised various messages for this, starting from making pigeons carry messages and sending letters via post up till when telephones were invented and used by those privileged.

Now, hardships such as these are a thing of the past, quite literally! With the mere touch of our fingers, we'll be able to send messages in mere seconds, call anyone from anywhere across the globe, and even video call them and see their faces any time we wish, thanks to the advent of smart phones and modern technology!

Such is the evolution of human communication!

Thank you.

Children

Very good morning to everyone present here, children today are extremely intelligent and well-informed from an early age. So, today I am here to give a speech on ‘Child’. Children are capable of a wide range of achievements and exploits. All they require is the correct training, the right leadership, and the desired setting. Given this, the next generation will undoubtedly guide the country to greater heights and newer horizons. We all live as humans on the same planet.

We must take on responsibility for those children who were born into a world without the love and support that every child deserves, just as it is our duty to protect the environment for future generations. We must use both of the hands that God has given us in order to assist these kids. Let’s also speak out in support of their rights. Give them a brighter future so they can in turn improve the world.

"Children are our greatest treasure. They are our future."

Children have the ability to influence the nation’s future. Therefore, children needs to be appropriately shaped and given the right guidance. The first step in uplifting children is to provide them with the proper education.

In conclusion, to guarantee that kids are enrolled in primary and secondary schools, the government should implement strict regulations. The correct development of children is also hampered by factors such as child labor, drug misuse, underage marriage, beggarly living, and so forth.
